Improv & Stand-Up Comedy
Fundraising Events

Laugh together. Give together.

Thermometer Mic — graphic_1x.png

A turnkey fundraiser where every guest buys a ticket and every guest gets in on the act. Pick the format, whether that's improv, stand-up, networking, or a full party. I'll handle the rest, from promo copy to the final bow.

Ten Ways to Turn it into Revenue

01
Sponsor-Underwritten

A local business pays my fee in exchange for logo placement, a welcome moment, and two seats. You keep every ticket dollar.

03
Earn Your Seat

No tickets. Each participant raises a minimum from friends and family, then performs for those donors in a 20-minute closing showcase.

05
Buy the Room

Sell the whole workshop to a local company as its team-building day. You invoice the company; I invoice you.

07
Matching Challenge

A board member or donor matches every ticket dollar. Launch it for BDOG or GivingTuesday.

09
Themed Experience

Pair the workshop with a donated experience, a chef’s tasting, a wine sponsor, a networking hour, to support a premium ticket.

02
Guarantee + Split

No flat fee. I take the greater of $1,500 or 40% of ticket revenue, so your risk is capped and your upside grows with your ticket price.

04
Workshop + Ticketed Showcase

Two and a half hours of training, then a 30-minute show for a paying audience. Add a bar or raffle.

06
Live-Auction Experience

Auction a private improv night for 20, led by a paid, professional NYC stand-up comedian. My fee is the reserve.

08
Donor Cultivation Night

A board member underwrites my fee, and 20 prospective major donors attend free as your guests. The return comes from your follow-up.

10
Season Pass

Three workshops across the year at a discounted rate. Sell passes as a member or parent benefit.

All comedy event-types and workshops may be turned into fundraisers

A comedian who has sat on your side of the table

Six and a half years in the C‑suite of a $450M social enterprise — plus time spent on nonprofit foundation boards — means knowing exactly what a fundraiser has to return. Combine that with nine years as a paid, professional stand‑up comedian and improviser in New York, and you get a perspective that’s equal parts boardroom and backstage.

Your supporters get a genuinely funny night. You get a partner who understands the math behind it.
